WINNERS OF AREA G72  FALL 2020 TABLE TOPICS SPEECH CONTEST

MACON, Ga., Sept. 18, 2020 --The Area G72 Fall 2020 Table Topics Speech Contest was held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 6:30 pm via zoom virtual conferencing. The Table Topics question was, What is your favorite season of the year and why? Three Area Club Members competed in the following speaking order: TM Monica (Middle Georgia Toastmasters Club #4781), TM Debra McMahon (Macon Toastmasters Club #824), and Dequarious Loper (GSC Toastmasters Club #3041826). The 1st Place Winner was TM McMahon. The 2nd Place Winner was TM Rockwell. And, the 3rd Place Winner was TM Loper.  All winners, contestants, and functionaries (contest master, chief judge, voting judges, tiebreaking judge, standby judges, ballot counters, timers, sergeant at arms, and zoom master) will receive certificates of participation from the contest chair.

TM McMahon will represent Area G72 in the Division G Fall 2020 Table Topics Speech Contest on

Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 4:00 pm via zoom.

1ST PLACE WINNER

TM Debra McMahon is a member of the Macon Toastmasters Club #824. She also serves as the Club Sergeant At Arms. TM McMahon shared this about her win, “I am beyond humbled to be selected as winner of the Area G72 Table Topics Contest and pray that I might honorably represent our supportive Toastmasters Community!”

2ND PLACE WINNER

TM Monica Rockwell is a member of the Middle Georgia Toastmasters Club #4781. TM Rockwell said, "It was fun to compete in the Area Table Topics Contest, and I'm looking forward to participating in more contests!"

3RD PLACE WINNER

TM Dequarious Loper is a member of the GSC Toastmasters #3041826. He also serves as the Club President. TM Loper gave this reflection, "It was an engaging and eye-opening event to participate in as a contestant, can't recommend it enough!"
